I wish we didn't have to go. This church has been like a second home to me and my family over the last {amount of time}. The community supports and the love of God have been an enormous source of comfort and relief during {difficult time period}.
Unfortunately, {I got a new job/spouse has to take care of a sick relative, children got accepted into special school}. I know we can never find another community as close and loving as this one, but I believe that God has a plan for all of us and that we will all continue to serve that plan faithfully, wherever we end up.
Thanks especially to {Pastor/Priest/etc. Name}. {He/she} has been an inspiration and has worked tirelessly for all of us. We will truly miss you all, and we will keep you in our prayers.
